Create a Nurikabe Puzzle

Design your puzzle on the grid below. Place numbered island clues and fill in the black wall cells to create a valid Nurikabe board. Once validated, mint it as an NFT — then wrap it with ETH on your Portfolio page to list it as a live challenge.

Nurikabe Rules

  • All black cells must connect into one group
  • No 2x2 block of black cells allowed
  • Each number defines an island of exactly that size
  • Islands cannot touch each other orthogonally

Puzzle Modes

When wrapping your puzzle with ETH, you'll choose a mode:

  • Handmade — Challengers solve your exact puzzle. Your design is the challenge.
  • Quantum — A preview puzzle is auto-generated for minting, but every challenger receives a completely different puzzle via an oracle. No two solvers see the same board, so the solution can never leak and your bounty is fully protected.
